Best Resume Format of 2020

Best Resume Format of 2020So, are you still wondering how to format your resume the best way? If you're still not familiar with the standard best practices for resume formats, then here's some info that can help you out.As far as the best resume format of 2020 goes, this is really an easy one. I know that when I was submitting my resume, I had no idea how to format it and I just tried the old school methods like using bold and underlined keywords. Luckily, I was able to figure this out, but it did take me a long time and I wasted a lot of time submitting resumes and trying to figure this all out.Instead of wasting time, I decided to make sure that I submitted my resume and cover letter to as many different companies as possible. This actually took some time, but I was able to narrow my search and eventually find what I'm talking about. Now that I know what to use and how to use it, I'm sure that you will be able to find the right resume format for your next job interview. There are a lot of common resume formats that you can use, but they are all the same. Now, not all of them are the same, but the majority of them are the same. Of course, some of them may look very different, but they are still just the same basic template. Here's the trick - most of these forms to use a '4-page format' which will give you more room to be creative when creating a resume. The first tip that I have for you when it comes to formatting your resume the best way is to avoid using bold and underlined keywords unless you are really pressed for time. Some of the best resume formats will actually skip this part of the job application process altogether, but there are some companies that will require you to submit a standard resume without the use of the keywords. For the best resume format of 2020, the best thing that you can do is make sure that you write it from a true perspective of who you are. It's important that you create a resume that showcases your skills and talents, but it's als o important that you keep it relevant to your current job. Most people don't realize this, but if you are applying for a position that you have already held, it's smart to include information about your position at your previous company.By being concise and providing a little bit of information about yourself on your resume format, you will be able to stand out from the crowd and get a great chance of getting a new job offer. Now, it's smart to never repeat a specific keyword over again, but you can do this with specific titles and key phrases in your resume. You can also add a little more information in an outline format, but you need to make sure that you know what type of information you are going to provide. One last tip for the best resume format of 2020 is to make sure that you try to follow a standard format. The best way to do this is to stick to the 4-page format and only include titles and key phrases once in a while. These are the guidelines that you need to follow in orde r to have a job interview that will be memorable.

Universities that CEOs Attended the Most - Personal Branding Blog - Stand Out In Your Career Having a good education is one of the first steps of having a good career. In order to find out the colleges that CEOs attended, Kittleman Search made a study with 500 CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. According to this list, the first five schools that produce the most CEOs are University of Wisconsin with 14 CEOs, Harvard University with 12 CEOs, Cornell University with 10 CEOs, University of Michigan with 8 CEOs and Stanford University with 7 CEOs. Whether you like to drink alone in your own home or in a bar or lounge, bartending is a perfect job for anyone.Bartending has been known throughout the world for over five decades now. Bars worldwide depend on bartenders to handle the important parts of the business. For example, the host of the party, the server, the customer service representative, and the master's are just a few of the important roles that bartenders are responsible for. The fact is, bart enders are the people that keep the bar running and the business running. This means that you have a career that will not only pay you well but is also stable in terms of hours and employment. A bartender career also pays well and offers job security. What more could you ask for? When writing a bartender resume, the first thing you need to do is think about what you do. How many responsibilities does your specific bartending career require? The job description of a bartender may range from being a bartender that supplies drinks to being an assistant that keeps the floor running smoothly. This is all up to you, but make sure that you focus on the details in your bartender resume description. You should use a format that is easy to read, even if you know very little about bartending. While you could throw in your number of years working as a bartender, do not include this information on your resume. Remember that the purpose of your bartender resume is to identify you as the most appropriate candidate for the position. This should be short and to the point. 6 Ways the Healthcare Industry Will Change in the Next Decade CareerMetis.com

6 Ways the Healthcare Industry Will Change in the Next Decade â€" CareerMetis.com Since the early 1900s, the healthcare industry has changed by leaps and bounds every decade.Surgeries look and feel totally different than they did less than 100 years ago, and patients are better able to find treatments and pain control options that work.eval?Of course, these changes have come improvements in healthcare reform as well as increased costs. If you’re earning a degree in nursing or are simply interested in emerging health news, prepare to see the following 6 changes throughout the healthcare industry within the next decade.1) Affordable Care Act ChangesevalAlthough the proposed destruction and replacement of the Affordable Care Act did not take place with the last administration change as was expected, you will still notice changes throughout the health insurance industry in the next few years.More insurers may opt-out of the marketplace while tweaks to the law help to drive down prices for the middle class.2) Enhanced Mobile Health TechnologyMobile healthcare has dras tically changed care for those living in rural areas, and improved communication and informatics will continue to drive this form of care even for those living in the city.Prepare to see your doctor begin to offer mobile visits or video chats and to communicate with you through video and email without needing to see your face in many cases.?Mobile healthcare will also help your doctor treat you after surgery without having to set foot in the hospital. With the growing number of BSN-credentialed nurses in the field, the need is even higher for health information to be pulled up quickly online.3) New Energy SourcesevalWhen it comes to radiologic imaging, the past has mostly seen its use as a way to observe internal anatomical structures and human tissue; however, new advancements in energy sources will allow researchers to evaluate tissues on a cellular and even molecular level.?These new magnetic radiofrequency devices and the new capabilities they grant researchers will reduce the c hance of misdiagnosis, making patient care safer and more reliable overall.4) Increased Retail Health ClinicsClinics located in retail spaces will continue to boom with fewer people heading to the emergency room. This will help improve triage and care in the emergency room as retail clinics are allowed to treat increasing numbers of problems. With the improvement in health informatics, retail clinic practitioners will be able to pull up your health information quickly online.5) Liquid BiopsiesevalLiquid biopsies will decrease the pain associated with the traditional biopsy because doctors will be able to perform genetic testing and disease testing using blood, serum or other fluids throughout the body rather than only solid samples. In June 2016, the FDA approved the first liquid cancer biopsy, and numerous companies are working on other liquid biopsy possibilities.eval6) Improved Robotic SurgeriesWhile robotic surgeries have been around for a while, the improved robots will have four arms instead of only two and will be able to be turned and repositioned without having to be removed from theirdocks. These newer robots will also be paired with operating tables that can reposition themselves, further decreasing the chance for human error.?Technology like imaging will also become more digital as time goes on, increasing the accuracy of diagnoses and facilitating procedures.?Of course, this is just a glance at the numerous changes in policies, technologies and more that are coming throughout the whole field.?As researchers continue to learn more about the body and politicians continue to enact reforms based on what their constituents are saying, you will see even more changes that you probably did not think were possible a few short years ago.?As these changes occur, you will certainly notice changes in everything from your clinic visit to your health insurance policy.

6 Great Resume Resources - CareerAlley

6 Great Resume Resources - CareerAlley We may receive compensation when you click on links to products from our partners. As a hiring manager, I like to read candidates resumes from the end of the resume to the top of the resume (assuming a chronological resume format). This allows me to get a feel for the candidates education and progressive work experience. Of course, every hiring manager is different and may have different preferences in terms of resume formats and their review process. Using a specific resume format should be driven by the persons experience, industry and the type of opportunity they are seeking. There are quite a few resume formats, but the four major basic formats (with probably hundreds of variations) are chronological, functional, combination, or targeted. The descriptions and potential uses are summarized below. While the resume format is important, content and writing style are (obviously) more important. More important than any of the items mentioned is that your resume must be error free from misspellings and typos. Additionally, your resume should be accurate (as in dont try to fudge the dates, companies you worked for, your experience or period of time you worked at any one company). Putting all of this together into a resume that will get you hired can be a daunting task to say the lease. Luckily, there are many resources available on the Internet to help you with this. A few of the links listed below, as well as some suggested reading. Resume Structure, Formats and what not to do: 5 Steps to a Great Resume Formats This article provides definitions of each of the resume section types (skills, work history, education, etc.) as well as brief descriptions of each of the four major resume formats along with links to resume examples and related articles. 7 Things You Shouldnt Include on Your Resume A lot of articles and books offer advice on what should be included on your resume. Interview with Liz Lynch, Author of Smart Networking -

Interview with Liz Lynch, Author of Smart Networking - Liz Lynch, founder of the Center for Networking Excellence and author of the newly released Smart Networking: Attract a Following In Person and Online, mastered the skill of networking from the ground up and is now a sought-after speaker who brings a practical and insightful perspective to networking that has connected with a global audience. Her printed and audio products have sold on six continents, shes been invited to speak at conferences and organizations around the world and her writings have been translated into multiple languages. So, when Liz invited me to join her virtual interview series contest for bloggers, I was delighted to sign on! Liz touts her new book as the essential guidebook for building business relationships in a wired world. (Please vote for my interview by clicking HERE and scrolling to vote for me in week #2) I enjoyed the opportunity to include her expert perspective on a topic regular readers know is one of the most important for job seekers: networking for success! Here are my questions and what Liz had to say: What homework should prospective networkers do before they attempt to engage in new networking relationships? Im glad you asked about homework, because so many people go into networking situations completely unprepared, expecting magic to happen. The best homework is to create a plan for your networking (Chapter 13 of Smart Networking takes you step-by-step to develop one). You want an overall plan, a big picture strategy, but you also want a plan for your ground game. Before you go into a networking event or even a one-on-one meeting, know exactly why youre going, what you want to know and what you want to convey about yourself. Having a plan will help you sound more confident and give you more confidence. It will also help you achieve what you want much faster. How do you advise busy people seeking to take advantage of the best online AND in-person networking? What are the must haves in a successful networking suitcase? In marketing its almost always more expensive to acquire a new customer than to keep an old one. If youre churning and burning through your network, youll have to do a lot more work and spend a lot more time just to stay even. So if I had to pick the must haves they would be those tools that allow you to stay in touch with your network and communicate with them easily, namely online sites like LinkedIn and Facebook, and those skills like mastering the art of the ask that help you get the help you need when you need it. What are your top three tips to help professionals who are behind the 8-ball in todays economy because they havent already built a strong network? Realize that you do have a network already of former colleagues, classmates, etc. and its worth spending time reconnecting with those folks to re-establish your connection. Use online networking sites to find these contacts and invite them to connect with you so you have an easy way to reach out to them later. Tell everyone you know what you are looking for. How can an unemployed job seeker network effectively without seeming desperate? First take action with the steps outlined in the previous question, so you have your network set up to help you. Then, take additional actions to get visible. It may be tempting to stay at home and not want to get out in public because you dont feel great about yourself, but start meeting people in different ways, like volunteering at a local charity or signing up for art class. Depending how long youve been job hunting, getting in a new environment can help shake things up and give you a strong purpose to follow that can spill over into improving how you feel about your job search. What advice do you have about cultural differences to consider when networking? I was in China in June and realized how people there seem much more comfortable asking questions that we wouldnt find appropriate here in the U.S. Questions like, How much money do you make? would leave most of us aghast. Networking across borders requires diplomacy. Its helpful if you know youre going to be traveling to get some guidance from a local. And be prepared to respectfully decline to answer questions that make you uncomfortable. What questions do you have about networking? Id be happy to answer them in a future post or direct you to a resource! Dont forget that I am available to help with all of your job search needs! Everything you need to know is right here on this site!
